NDIS EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
One-on-one exercise physiology for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, delivered at our Tingalpa clinic or through mobile visits in Landsborough and the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Build capacity for everyday life
Your program focuses on the physical skills that matter to you, such as getting out of a chair, walking around your home, improving balance or taking part in your community. Sessions are tailored to your disability-related needs, current abilities and NDIS goals.
Depending on your assessment, we can work on strength, walking tolerance, balance, mobility, coordination and confidence with movement. Progress is reviewed and exercises are adjusted as your needs change.
What to expect
Your first appointment includes a discussion of your goals, health history and support needs, followed by an assessment of relevant movement and physical capacity. Gavin then develops an individual exercise plan and explains how it will support your goals.
With your consent, we can work with your support coordinator, plan manager, carers and other treating professionals. We can discuss progress reporting and any associated fees before services begin.
Appointments and funding
Clinic appointments are available at 3/433 Wondall Road, Tingalpa, convenient to Wynnum, Manly West and surrounding suburbs. Mobile visits are available in Landsborough and selected surrounding hinterland communities, subject to availability.
Exercise physiology may be funded when it meets NDIS funding criteria and is consistent with your plan. We support self-managed and plan-managed participants. Please check your available funding with your plan manager or NDIS contact. Fees, travel arrangements and service terms are agreed before treatment.
