Home visits can help when travelling to a clinic is difficult or when you would benefit from practising movement in your own surroundings. Gavin Cooper, an ESSA Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist, designs each program around your health, abilities and goals.
Your sessions may focus on getting up from a chair, walking more comfortably, building strength, improving balance or maintaining independence. Exercises use suitable space and equipment available in your home, with progress reviewed over time.
What happens at a home visit?
Your first visit includes a discussion of your health history, current concerns and goals, followed by an assessment of relevant movement and physical capacity. We also consider your home environment so the program is practical for you.
You receive individual guidance and a plan for appropriate exercises between visits. With your consent, we can involve a carer or support worker and communicate with your treating professionals.

Appointments are arranged in advance. Visit times, fees and any travel charges are discussed before you commit to a service.
Referrals and funding
Private clients can enquire directly. If you plan to use NDIS, DVA, Medicare or another funding arrangement, let us know before booking so we can check relevant eligibility, referral requirements and service arrangements. Funding and rebates depend on your individual circumstances.
